Hi, I’m Cait—the baker behind Sweetly, Cait!
Growing up with severe food allergies, I always struggled to find safe, delicious gluten-free baked goods. When I had to go completely gluten-free at 15, I quickly realized how limited my options were. So, I took matters into my own hands, starting with baking my own birthday cakes. What began as a necessity soon turned into a passion, and before I knew it, friends and family were asking me to bake for their events!
Over time, I expanded my creations beyond cakes including cupcakes, pies, cookies... you name it, I’ve done it. I believe food should be enjoyed without fear, and that’s why I exclusively bake gluten-free treats. Too often, store-bought options don’t live up to their gluten-filled counterparts, but I’ve spent years refining recipes that taste and feel just as indulgent. In fact, most people can’t even tell my bakes are gluten-free!
At Sweetly, Cait my mission is simple: to create 100% safe, irresistibly delicious, and beautifully crafted baked goods for everyone to enjoy, without sacrificing taste or texture. If I can make someone’s celebration sweeter, then I know I’ve done something right!
-Giving Back Through Baking-
Beyond baking for customers, I believe in using my skills to spread joy in my community. As a volunteer baker for Cake4Kids, I create birthday cakes and treats for at-risk and underserved youth because every child deserves to celebrate with something special.
I also support the Folsom Garden Club each year by baking and donating cookies to help fund their important work. This year alone, I donated over 10 dozen cookies to their cause!
For me, baking isn’t just about making something sweet, it’s about bringing people together, creating safe treats for those who need them, and making a difference, one batch at a time.
Sweetly,
Cait
